A major goal of the L.A. Winds is to provide outreach and educational services to the community.

The group accomplishes this goal through a variety of programs including performing special concerts for children and community groups and participating in civic events.

Each year the L.A. Winds are able to host or participate in several events across the greater Los Angeles area. The L.A. Winds’ outreach events are always enthusiastically received and the L.A. Winds have been able to develop strong relationships with several local organizations including the Los Angeles Community College District, the Valley Cultural Center, the Pacific Lodge Boys’ Home, the Los Angeles Sight Center, local elementary and secondary schools, and other organizations.
